Hey no worries, I didn't really make a specific topic for that reason.
Well, I'm a total and I've lived in a residence hall for 2 years this year. It's a lot of fun. I had a roommate last year and before we moved in I called her to let her know about my computer stuff. She was cool with it. Mostly people might ask the usual blindness questions but I've never had anyone treat me really strangely.

unfortunately, since I'm a horible student. I didn't get the luxury of going to a campass, so instead I take the daily commute to the Illinois Center of Broadcasting, which I gotta say is pretty rockin!

I do like taking classes on campus in some ways, but in others, I hate it. It can be conviniant depending on the university to have classes in close proximity of each other, but some campuses, like the one I'm on suck because it is in between 2 small cities. The bus system is crap so I'm basically stuck up here in the middle of no where. I wanted to go to a broadcasting school, but the comission for the blind strongly recommended against it. Although I sort of wish I would have gone since that's really waht I wanted to do. But now that I see some of the very talented blind broadcasters and how they can never seem to find a good job doing just that, I'm almost a bit glad I didn't go for broadcasting. Perhaps when I go for my masters wich will probably be at a school with a radio station, I'll consider picking up some classes in that area, but there isn't even a friggin radio station at this university. Just one of many reasons y my college sucks.

our classes are more technically based. not a lot of paper work.

Speaking of broadcasting. Do any of you know how to use JFW with cool edtit? Or AKA Adobe Audition. I was able to put the curcer on a part of the file, and select it. But I couldn't figure how to mark edit points, or ajust my music beds. How do you do this with JFW. BTW, I think I will go in to shocial work. I would love to go in to broadcasting. But it is so unstable, and there are so many accessibility issues, I don't know what my feucher would hold for me in broadcasting. However, I will do radio shows over the phone, and the internet. I will talk to you later.

Hey there. I haven't started classes for next semester yet either, and I have to say that I am not looking forward to them at all (with the exception of my playwriting course). The courses that I'm taking are mostly all reading based, and we barely do any paper work or anything fun :-( Japanimangel, if you learn anything new about rez, let me know :) I'm scared to go away in the fall.. :

Hi All! Well, I'm still in high school lol, but we haven't started second semester yet, on account of we haven't finished first semester yet. I have to take some finals first. Well, a lot of finals. I'm really scared, lol! Because they're really heavy weights. I know this topic is mostly for college people, but I thought I'd just write and say hi lol. Oh and also when I start my second semester, I'll have Sociology, not Health, so that will be kind of a schedule change. Caitlin

caitlin, oh, high school finals suck! I allready took my fist semester, a few months ago and now umm in 2 weeks i have to take 2ed semester finals. merh! and then i start new classes. my school is weird cause we have a 4 by 4 block schedule. so, we have 4 classes the fist half of the year and then 4 different classes the 2ed half of the year. lol I am not looking forward to new classes as i only know how to find the 4 classes i have now and i will prolly get lost! lol! im thinking of transfering to a new, smaller, school which is just down the street from my house. amen! lol wow i kinda wrote a lot, sorry guys but i tend to talk alot! lol c ya -Heather

Lol I talk a lot too hehehe. It's all good! That's cool about you might transfer. Since you are worried about getting lost. I'm at a pretty big high school and I have 7 classes to go to every day so it was hard at first, but now i know where all of them are and it's actually pleasant walking there and being relaxed and knowing I'm not going to get lost hehehe. But that blocked schedule sounds ... interesting? COnfuzzling? Lol! ANyway yeah.

oh, thats cool. yea, my school has about 3800 students and its as big as a small college. The school im thinking about transfering to has only 200 now becase it has only freshmen. its a new school and each year they are adding a new grade so in 4 years they will have all grades. it sounds cool so i think im gonna go there. or should i stay at the big one for the challenge? what do u guys think would be best?
